Our roots trace back to a clan that enshrined Sugawara no Michizane, Japan’s patron saint of learning, and a lineage that defended castles and upheld the samurai spirit throughout the Warring States period.

※Smoking is prohibited in all rooms within the facility. Smoking is also prohibited outside the building.

※Please do not wear outdoor shoes inside. Please remove your shoes at the entrance before entering.

※The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood. As there are residents nearby, please keep noise to a minimum in the garden and on the balcony after 8:00 PM and in the early morning. Thank you for your cooperation.

*This facility features the delicate construction typical of traditional Japanese houses.

 Please remove your slippers before entering the tatami rooms.

 The shoji screens and fusuma sliding doors are made of paper. Please be careful as they tear easily.

 A repair fee will be charged for any damage.

*When you go out, please turn off the lights and air conditioner in your room. We appreciate your cooperation.

*During your stay, room cleaning, linen changes, bed making, and restocking of amenities are available for an additional fee.
